Limited network coverage made outdoor event management, live updates, and participant interaction more difficult. It also limited the association’s ability to share community information and announcements.
The association needed connectivity at the park gazebo and other community locations, with a network approach that fit the site and the organization’s budget.
OUR APPROACH
Black Rock assessed and procured compatible hardware for the updated network infrastructure and the planned coverage expansion.
A point-to-point wireless system extended the internet connection to the gazebo and village park. An additional access point improved coverage at the Franklin Community Kreger House.
The team installed a lockable NEMA steel enclosure with a managed PoE switch at the gazebo. Ethernet and power cables were planned, routed, labeled, and tested for reliable connectivity.
A dedicated project manager oversaw the work, maintained regular updates with the association, and delivered the project within the agreed timeframe and budget.
ON THE GROUND
