Outdated security systems provided inadequate access control and incomplete coverage across township facilities.
Malfunctioning cameras created concerns for building security and the upcoming election. The township needed a coordinated installation that addressed both access management and reliable recording.
OUR APPROACH
Black Rock installed an access control door reader with a video intercom at the Township Office entrance. The team integrated it with the existing access control infrastructure, configured live communication and visual identification, and tested the system.
Seven outdoor cameras and two indoor cameras were installed. The camera systems were integrated with access control for centralized management and tested for proper functionality.
A network video recorder with 8TB drives was installed. The case study reports capacity for up to 365 days of footage for this project’s configuration.
Black Rock planned, routed, and labeled the Ethernet and power cables connecting the camera and access control systems, keeping the installation organized and supporting dependable operation.
