Referral Credit Program

Know an organization that could benefit from better IT support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 management, or managed services?

BRT values referrals from our clients and community partners. If you introduce us to an organization that may be a good fit for our services, you may be eligible to receive a referral credit when that introduction leads to a qualified opportunity or new client agreement.

How It Works

Submit a referral using the form below. Once we receive the referral, our team will review the information and follow up with the referred organization if there appears to be a potential fit.

Referral credits are available in the following tiers:

Tier 1: Qualified Introduction — $250 Credit

Receive a $250 service credit when you make a qualified introduction and the referred organization requests a quote from BRT.

A qualified introduction generally means the referred organization:

  • Is aware that you are introducing them to BRT
  • Has a legitimate interest in BRT’s services
  • Is an organization BRT has not already been actively working with
  • Requests pricing, a proposal, or a formal quote from BRT

Tier 2: Signed Agreement — $500 Credit

Receive a $500 service credit when the referred organization signs a new service agreement with BRT.

This credit applies when the referred organization becomes a new BRT client under a managed services, cybersecurity, IT support, or other qualifying service agreement.

Tier 3: Premium Referral — $1,000 Credit

Receive a $1,000 service credit when the referred organization signs a new agreement with a monthly recurring revenue value of $1,500 or more.

This tier is intended to recognize referrals that result in larger ongoing managed service relationships.

Referral Credit Structure

Referral credits are not stacked unless otherwise approved by BRT in writing.

For example, if a referred organization requests a quote and later signs an agreement, BRT may apply the highest applicable credit rather than multiple separate credits. BRT may, at its discretion, provide additional recognition for exceptional referrals.

Program Terms and Conditions

By submitting a referral, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility

The BRT Referral Credit Program is available to current BRT clients and approved referral partners unless otherwise prohibited by law, contract, employer policy, or organizational policy.

Referral credits are issued as account credits toward eligible BRT services unless BRT approves an alternate form of recognition in writing.

2. Qualified Referrals

A referral must be submitted through the referral form or otherwise documented with BRT before the referred organization signs an agreement.

To qualify, the referred organization must be new to BRT and not already:

  • An active BRT client
  • In an active sales conversation with BRT
  • Previously referred by another party
  • Already known to BRT as an open opportunity

BRT will determine referral eligibility based on its internal records.

3. Referred Contact Consent

The person submitting the referral should have a reasonable basis to believe the referred organization is open to being contacted by BRT.

The referred contact should be aware that their information is being shared with BRT for the purpose of discussing potential services.

4. Credit Amounts

Referral credits may be issued according to the following structure:

  • $250 credit for a qualified introduction where the referred organization requests a quote
  • $500 credit when the referred organization signs a qualifying agreement
  • $1,000 credit when the referred organization signs a qualifying agreement with monthly recurring revenue of $1,500 or more

Unless otherwise approved by BRT, only the highest applicable referral credit will be issued for a single referred organization.

5. Timing of Referral Credits

Referral credits are typically applied after the qualifying milestone has been completed and verified by BRT.

For signed agreements, credits may be applied after the referred organization has signed the agreement and completed any required onboarding, deposit, or first payment requirements.

6. Credit Use

Referral credits may be applied toward future invoices for eligible BRT services.

Referral credits:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are not transferable unless approved by BRT
  • May not be redeemed for cash
  • May not be applied to past-due balances unless approved by BRT
  • May not be combined with other promotions unless approved by BRT

7. Monthly Recurring Revenue Threshold

The $1,000 referral credit applies when the referred organization signs a qualifying agreement with monthly recurring revenue of $1,500 or more.

One-time projects, hardware purchases, software licensing pass-through costs, taxes, shipping, and other non-recurring charges may be excluded from the monthly recurring revenue calculation unless BRT determines otherwise.

8. Public Sector, Government, and Regulated Organizations

Some organizations, including municipalities, public agencies, schools, nonprofits, and regulated entities, may have policies that restrict or prohibit referral incentives.

It is the responsibility of the referring party and the referred organization to ensure participation is allowed under any applicable rules, policies, ethics requirements, or procurement guidelines.

Where appropriate, BRT may offer an alternative recognition option, such as a donation to an approved charitable or community organization, instead of a service credit.

9. Multiple Referrals

If more than one person refers the same organization, BRT will determine referral credit eligibility based on factors such as submission date, prior relationship, and involvement in the introduction.

BRT reserves the right to split, adjust, or decline referral credits in cases of duplicate or disputed referrals.

10. No Guarantee of Acceptance

Submitting a referral does not guarantee that BRT will contact, quote, or enter into an agreement with the referred organization.

BRT reserves the right to determine whether a referred organization is a good fit for its services.

11. Program Changes

BRT may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Referral Credit Program at any time.

Referral credits are subject to the program terms in effect at the time the referral is submitted, unless otherwise agreed in writing by BRT.

12. Final Determination

All referral eligibility decisions, credit amounts, and program interpretations are at BRT’s discretion.
