Microsoft Lists is an excellent tool from Microsoft 365 that tracks information and organizes work. To keep data coordinated, you can track issues, routines, inventories, and more with customized views, smart rules, alerts, and other functionalities. You can merge your lists into Microsoft 365 apps and work on those lists from inside Teams or SharePoint

1. Integrations

Your lists can integrate with other Microsoft 36 apps such as Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps. They do so immediately. For quick streamlining of projects and workflows Lists and power automate do the job. Automation is a powerful way to save your time and change the way you do things.

Lists can be embedded in Teams, and they can be used to create a custom app with Power Apps.

Naturally, lists occupy SharePoint sites. They are like mini databases on these sites. Whenever a new list is created, you decide which SharePoint site to store it. In addition, not mentioned previously, Lists also integrates with your OneDrive account. Personal lists can be stored on your OneDrive but only accessed through the Lists app.

2. Lists Collaboration Through Microsoft Teams

Lists help you do more with the Microsoft Teams app. You can create lists, share them, or access others’ various lists without having to leave your meetings or sessions. From within the Teams app, you can make lists more useful for your team by changing views and adding columns and filters.

3. Managing Rules

To-do lists can be automated in many ways on this tool, most of which require if/then-style rules in the Lists app. These rules help you remind your team to complete actions so that they do not fall through the cracks. The owner of the list will remain in control, even if they grant their collaborators editing access.

4. Sharing Lists and Items

With Lists, sharing data with your teams and clients is straightforward. You do not need to share a complete list with them; you can share selected areas. You can customize the level of data protection you desire by choosing the read-only, edit-access, password protection, or expiration date options.

5. Mobile App

The Lists app is available on iPhones and iPads. You can create, view, and edit your lists from anywhere. Recently Microsoft released Lists for Android business and enterprise users.
