A recent security assessment for one of our clients uncovered some alarming numbers that could leave any business vulnerable to cyber attacks.

834 critical severity vulnerabilities were found, providing attackers with a relatively easy way to exploit their systems and gain control. That’s not all, 229 critical security software patches were missing, leaving their network exposed to potential breaches.

But it doesn’t end there. 26 outdated Zoom clients, 17 outdated remote access tools, and 8 vulnerable Adobe Reader clients were also discovered, all of which can lead to malicious actors executing remote software on your network, causing a denial of service or even information disclosure.

These numbers are just the tip of the iceberg, and it’s crucial for businesses to perform security assessments quarterly or at least annually to ensure they are not vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
